Deltarune Chapter 5 Concept
Before DELTARUNE Chapter 5 comes out this year, I want to share my personal theory/concept on how the chapter will start. This might not be the most uniqe thing you've heard.
It could start with a black screen. Maybe a wind sound. Then, a textbox appears. You can't see who but it's clearly Sans. He talks about the festival, and you having to wake up so you won't be late. Along with his "the birds are singing" line.
Then he walks up to the curtains to open it, kinda like how Toriel did in chapter 1. "come on, kid. don't make this a snoozefest. the festival has almost starded, and your mother's preparing her food that she's gonna be selling. why don't you come help her out before it's too late?" I don't know if he would stay over the night, so sans could be switched up with Toriel here.
Then after he leaves, you get control and get to interact with your room and so on. Then, when you walk downstairs, either "you can always come home" or "sans" plays. It's Sans sitting on the dinner table, sipping ketchup. While Toriel is at the counter. Her sprites are moving really fast as she's working on something. When you interact with Toriel, she talks about being busy and that she can't talk right now. Sans takes Toriel's words and makes it into a skeleton pun. Which Toriel laughs at despite being busy.
After you get out of the house, maybe Susie is waiting for you outside. And a festival themed track will start playing as you explore the hometown with Susie following you. The Hometown is now filled with npcs in new outfits and some have their own little stands where you can play minigames. (And maybe get points to buy items from shops. And then those items will turn into something useful in the dark world.) Susie might have a little talk to you about yesterday. And how some monsters are upset at the church being all destroyed from the inside now. She tells you to not let anyone know what caused it. Noelle with show up at some point too maybe. Or if you if you did specific choices before, she would hang out with you instead of Susie. Or you go with Berdly and Susie goes with Noelle. If you progress further enough, you will come across Toriel again.
She tells you that Asgore's flower stand was supposed to be right here, but there is no Asgore to be seen. She tells you to go into Flower King to check up on him and maybe take Susie and Noelle with you. Then when you walk into the flower shop (music cuts off), Asgore isn't there. And when you open the double door. Guess what? Yeah, yeah. Dark world. So I'm hoping that Noelle is with us too, so that she could be in the dark world. And maybe realize that dark worlds are real and not a dream.
I can't wait for this all to be wrong when chapter 5 releases. That's basically what happened when 3 and 4 released.
